Export All User Interactions as CSV

The DaReactions plugin provides a comprehensive tool to track and analyze user interactions through reactions. For further analysis or reporting, you can export this data into a CSV file, which includes detailed records of all interactions based on your specified filters.

Steps to View and Export User Interactions

  1. Access the Vote List:
    • Navigate to Reactions > Vote List in your WordPress dashboard. This section allows you to view a complete list of all user interactions with the reaction functionality.
  2. Filter the Interactions:
    • In the Vote List view, you have the option to filter the results based on several criteria, including:
      • Content Type: Filter interactions by the type of content (e.g., posts, pages).
      • Specific Content: Narrow down interactions to a specific piece of content.
      • User: View interactions from specific users.
      • Reaction: Filter by specific reactions to see how each type is being used.
  3. Export the Data:
    • Once you have set your desired filters and reviewed the filtered interactions, click on the button located under the table labeled Export to CSV.
    • This will generate a CSV file containing all details of the interactions as per the current filters. The file includes data such as the date of interaction, user ID, reaction type, and associated content ID.

Benefits of Exporting Interaction Data

  • Comprehensive Analysis: Exporting the data allows for deeper analysis using external tools like spreadsheets or databases, enabling you to uncover trends and patterns in user behavior.
  • Reporting: The CSV file can be used to generate reports for presentations or to inform stakeholders about how users are interacting with content.
  • Data Backup: Regularly exporting this data can also serve as a backup for tracking user engagement over time.

This feature is particularly valuable for site administrators and marketers looking to gain a more granular understanding of audience engagement and to refine their content strategy based on user feedback.
