Add a New Reaction

Expanding the range of reactions available on your site can enhance user engagement by providing more options for expressing feelings and opinions. Adding a new reaction in the DaReactions plugin is straightforward.

Steps to Add a New Reaction

1. Access the Reactions Manager:
   • Navigate to Reactions » Reactions Manager in your WordPress dashboard.
2. Initiate the Addition of a New Reaction:
   • Click the Add New button located beneath the existing list of reactions. This action will create a new row in the list, featuring a random icon and color as placeholders.
3. Customize the New Reaction:
   • Change the Icon: Click on the random icon to select a new one from the available library or upload a custom icon.
   • Rename the Reaction: Enter a new name in the text box next to the icon to identify the reaction.
   • Select a Color: Choose a new color for the icon to make it stand out or blend in with your site’s design.
   • If you need assistance changing the icon or color, refer to the Appearance section for detailed guidance.
4. Save Your Changes:
   • Ensure all modifications are as you desire and click the Save button to finalize the addition of the new reaction.
