Choose Effect for Inactive Reactions

Customizing the appearance of inactive reaction buttons enhances user interaction by visually distinguishing active choices. The DaReactions plugin offers several effects for inactive reactions, and you can preview these effects in real time within the Graphic Settings.

How to Set Effects for Inactive Reactions

1. Navigate to Reactions > Graphic Settings in your WordPress dashboard.
2. Under the Inactive Reactions Effects Settings, choose one of the following effects to apply to non-active reactions:
   • None: No effects are applied.
   • Transparence: The selected reaction remains opaque, while all other buttons become semi-transparent.
   • Desaturate: The selected reaction retains its color, whereas other buttons turn grayish.
   • Blur: The selected reaction stays in focus, while other buttons appear blurry.
3. Adjust the intensity of the effect by choosing a value between zero (no effect) and one hundred (maximum effect). Monitor the changes in real time with the preview at the bottom of the page.
4. Click the Save Changes button to confirm your settings.
